Looking for a weird(even for the genre) anime title

Can't remember the title but...it's about these 3 or so elderly guys who hack into the mainframe of a high-tech hospital bed.They hate the bed contraption because the bed's aged occupant never leaves it.The bed cleans,feeds,etc a patient.Saves on labor costs you see.
Of course the elderly gents see it for what it is,a prison 'til death.After they mess with it,the bed's occupant starts controlling the bed,and it begins to morph,absorbing all machinery & electronics neaby,gets REALLY big & scary.
Now gang,please stop laughing.I actually did watch this on SCI-FI channel years ago.Anyone know it?
