Saturday night weirdout session! Bizarro coincidence's!

On Saturday via SAT I was able to see: 1) "Sleeping Dogs Lie" on IFC where a woman can't live down giving her dog a blow job. No spoiler alert needed, this is the first thing that happens in the film. 2) - "Gummo" ....yikes! on Sundance 2) - a documentary on Ovation about an Appalachain photographer (can't remember the name) that went between beautiful and disturbing images and flipped to "Mullholland Drive" on the pathetic channel "Logo" when the doc on Ovation went to commercial. Logo is pathetic because the time slot for "Mull Dr." was.......get this now..... 8:30PM to 1AM! 4 and a half hours!

As a Lynch fan I had seen "Mullholland Drive" already. Trivia quiz: What does "M Dr.", "Sleeping Dogs Lie" and "Gummo" have in common? Give up? Roy Orbison and Crying. Pretty bizarre there was that tie in with these three.

"Gummo" should be seen if you haven't. It can be painful and very disturbing at times but it still is very powerful and well thought out IMO.

"Sleeping Dogs Lie" is a well done indie and should be seen. It balances itself between comedy and drama quite well. Make sure you see these and the Appalachain doc as well. They all made for a great night at home on TV.

Question "Authority", the mainstream media sucks - Go Independent and hold BOTH parties accountable instead of just the other guys!

I need music to help forget the reality of today
