I saw this a couple of weeks ago as part of the 2009 German Film Festival.
It is the tale of a mid 19th century young woman married off and being suffocated in a loveless marriage.
I was reminded of some 1970s films and BBC productions.
This may be another film where some will think nothing happens.
It stars Julia Jentsch who you may remember from Sophie Scholl.
I think it lends itself to a wet Sunday afternoon feet tucked up on the sofa kind of thing.
I enjoyed it, but it is not going to make best of the year lists.
