which is still one of my favorite movies. Same basic conceit, visitors from another world subjected to a very human welcome.
There was no attempt at subtlety. The South African setting was clearly intended to invoke race problems in their recent history.
The story arc was quite conventional, but it left me satisfied. It was not possible for me to predict where this was headed, and that is somewhat notable in itself. It was, all in all, a fine time at the movies.
