This is one of those films that's better and better each viewing. I love Douglas' role as a teacher and audiophile!

As far as Thelma Ritter...any film she's in is worth watching. It's always a pleasure to pick up an older film, then suddenly see her name in the credits and know that if nothing else is great about it, she still will be.
