by the inimitable Preston Sturges (dir. by the competent Mitchell Leisen) and starring arguably the greatest comedic female talent we've ever produced, Jean Arthur; Edward Arnold and Ray Milland round out the leads.
A wealthy dowager, whose latest extravagant purchase is a sable coat, so upsets her magnate husband that he tosses the item from their penthouse veranda--- and it lands on a working girl who finds her life turned upside down by the sudden windfall.
This film has several gut-busting laugh scenes, including one wherein she is shown a magnificent hotel suite and another during which a famous restaurant fight ensues.
Don't let this somewhat forgotten gem escape you.
