Starring the new hardest working man in film, Roman Duris as Moliere in an at first a charming and then by stages a deeper and more rewarding film that manages to entrance in a way that could only be French.
I don't want to give anything away here so all I can say is that this is one of the best two hours I can remember spending in a cinema!
It is a lovely film.
Good performances all round even from the unsympathetic characters. As a film about the theatre, it walks a tightrope and manages to get away with it.
Do yourself a favour, see it as soon as you can.
