I found it particularly odd that he would take a commercial jet home when he had a private one at his disposal. And I guess that he thought his one time Parisian colleague would not seek retribution for Liam having shot his wife. But, after all, it was only a flesh wound. I mean I guess I wouldn't either were I him I suppose that's plausible. Actually think Liam Neeson turned out to be a surprisingly good choice for the part and was a large part of the movie's success.
