Usually doesn't work for me. There are clearly some cultural issues I don't have any reference for. Outside of My Sassy Girl and My Wife is a Gangster, I really haven't liked many Korean comedies. There a lot of humor in their serious and semi-serious movies I don't get either. This movie has been around for a while, I passed on it.
