This is a simple little film; almost a docu-drama; based on real events written about by the USMC Hq officer who volunteered to escort the body of a 19 year-old Marine PFC killed in Iraq in 2004 to the small town where he grew up. Its an intimate and quietly moving film that gives a rare glimpse into the sad, little-seen details of a too common process, and the effects that these fallen soldiers and Marines momentarily have on a preoccupied society as they make their way home. It has a couple sappy, flag-waving moments, but it takes no overt position for or against the war in Iraq and for the most part is a poignant, thoughtful memorial. I think any who would read politics into it miss its point. Its only about 75 minutes and I highly recommend it.We're chasing terrorists in the wrong place...they're on Wall St.
