And big pile of stale merde that film is. French style, of course.
Would someone please tell Monsieur Depardeu that his debile son can't act worth merde? Sober up, old man, accept the sad truth... take that overgrown idiot to some usine (that's French!), let him carry things, lift things, do something.... anything... but another movie.
Cheap, shallow, pointless, pretentious piece of crap, one that caused an amateur reviewer write: "French cinema sucks..." - and rightly so.
What a stinker... completely forgettable, fortunately. Even that hard-core scene... body doubles, I presume? And they HAD to search hard through the whole of Russia to find that "actress" - surely they could have found someone better to take part in this monumental exercise in idiocy.
I got that chef d'oeuvre (that's more French... thanks, Alta-Vista!) for just $3 for three nights on DVD... that DOESN'T mean I have to watch it three times? Or does it?
Anyway, stay clear of that steaming pile. Unless you are dying to see the young inept Depardeu's genitals... not much to see there, really... plus maybe it WAS a body double... but perhaps we shall never know...
