I didn't go see "The Matrix" on purpose when it was released because I
thought that it was just another special effects extravanganza; finally
saw it at a discount theater recently and was pleasantly surprised and
entertained. Better than I anticipated; reminded me somewhat of "Dark City"
which I saw upon initial release and liked. As you say, Carrie-Anne Moss
was a standout. - AH
