and it's fascinating to me that James Cameron can come across as such an egomaniacal, callous tyrant and that he can fill the movie with such hokey dialogue and characters, and use every cliche in the book and have every moment of the film be thoroughly predictable, and still create a work of such immersive beauty... that for the most part... none of the other stuff matters.
