Watched The Informant, and nearly walked out. Boring...It is clear Soderberg wanted to repeat the success of the sparkling Barbarians at the Gate, but could not figure out how. He looked like me trying to do Fred Astaire... heavy, clumsy and not convincing. Copying the moves without understanding them.
Where the Barbarians are light, jumpy and incredibly funny, this one is all-out flat.
Some liked Damon's performance... I can see why, but it is too one-dimensional, without any revelations or surprises.
As corporate satire the Barbarians still has no equal. This one? Totally forgettable.
