Stuhr, actor/director, comes this gentle comedy of subtle manners, all but impossible in our country these days.
A middle-aged man leaves a monastery and experiences the shock which two decades of absence in our rapidly changing society can deliver. Not exactly a brilliant or unexpected plot but again, the cleverness of the comedy itself, the fine comedic feeling of the Stuhr makes for a very entertaining and yes, intelligent, comedy. Vic absolutely is correct in his prior assessment. A very nice "little" film which, unlike many, you will remember for day's after.
