Having slept on it, I have to say the movie is a total garbage, I am amazed how it got the recognition it got even in this country so atunned to slobbering, sentimental, purely imbecilic films.

I was further shocked to discover that it was based on a true story - makes me cringe looking at my countrymen and thinking of their tastes in books and films.

But then perhaps it was AuPh who bought all those idiotic books.
