RE: I look forward to it, especially the visuals, but also to compare it to the first one

Your timeless comment reminded me of something. Although there are modern ships visible in parts of the film, I remember no motor vehicles. Everyone walked around the village. In one scene there was a poster on a building for modern tires...looked like radials, but I don't remember the brand. I wondered who the ad would be for, since nobody there seemed to own cars. (-:

Interestingly, both films are rated the same, at 7.9, on IMDB.
