Rented this on Saturday night, wife's pick. Glad it was hers, especially considering she wanted to start ff'g with ~1/2 hour left.
It was OK, semi-entertaining... but longer than it needed to be, kinda boring, didn't really go anywhere we thought.
Alec was the best part of the movie, and I thought the son-in-law was actually the funniest character. Martin was fine... We both thought Streep was simply strange and disconnected in the movie, didn't feel "right" to us.
Wasn't funny enough to be a comedy. Wasn't romantic enough to be a romance. We'll put this one under drama. Worth seeing? Maybe for some, we could have missed it.
