And Harry Brown is a film that is sort of like a Tarantino remake of Trainspotting (minus the humour and music) and Dirty Harry.
This film is ugly. It's meant to be. A London housing estate is controlled by drug dealers. Young stupid vicious thugs controlled by their dads and uncles. They are all uniformly ugly. Their lives are ugly. The estate is ugly. The people who live there are ugly.
Then it all gets uglier.
I found myself grabbed and dragged into the film.
It doesn't overstay its welcome at around 105 minutes and features possibly the ugliest junkie dealer ever shown on film.
