Every now and then some of us like those special films shot entirely in one small space... an apartment... a restaurant table... a motel room. Often with just two actors... and often good and interesting.
En la Cama from Chile is one such film. Two people meet, like each other, feel like leaving their baggage behind for a few hours of steamy sex in a motel.
The film unjustly carries pretty low rating - I can only surmise due to lack of cops, drugs and shooting. It is a quiet drama that does deserve more attention in my view. -
So if heavy breathing doesn't offend you, and you like like dialogue-driven films, delve right in! You will be rewarded with wonderful performances and 80 VERY thought-provoking minutes.
