Turns out quite a bit. Even considering some longer than needed dance scenes.
"Fraulein" might be a Swiss film, but there isn't much of Switzerland there, besides the backdrops. At the film's center there are lives of three women who came to Zurich from different parts of the former Yugoslavia. One is played by Mirjana Karanovic - I would hate to call her character main one... but she surely dominates with her presence. She is the one who played mother in Witnesses, BTW, and is considered one of the best Yugoslavian actresses. Being a Serb, she was the first to cross the boundary to play the Croatian woman. If you are now confused - welcome to the party, a brief historical reading on Yugoslavia is highly recommended before renting the film.
It is a good film that is bound to touch you if your main interest in films is not space travel and explosions, but the human beings.
