"Sügisball" from the Baltic republic of Estonia just might wipe that stupid smile off your silly face.
When things get tough, when there is no Christmas bonus and your dog keeps peeing on your carpet, it is great to realize things can be whole lot worse.
There is no surprise most films made in the post-USSR tend to be gloomy, sad and suicide-inspiring. They simply reflect the reality, which often is even less appealing than the films. Sügisball is no exception - at some point you will definitely start looking for a rope.
Still, I do recommend it, based on some interesting character studies and observations.
