"The Page Turner" is what I would call a petite drama. It's got low budget fingerprints all over it, and its message is rather clear very soon in the film. And yet, overall, it manages to give you rather pleasant hour and a half, with good dose of suspense, and some fine acting. Plus the obligatory European scenery, which is always welcome on this side of the puddle. Catherine Frot is - as always - pleasant to look at and brings back the memories of Family Resemblances...
Ah, yes... and it is also a film for music lovers.
Definitely a fine film - inoffensive and thoughtful.
