Best Actor.
A fascinating character, as portrayed, and not romanticized. He was a vicious, murdering thug, but that doesn't mean he didn't have human traits. In other words, the film portrayed a man, not an archetype. I don't know how much was fiction, but this wasn't a documentary. It's far superior to any crime film of recent years. Only "Carlos" is as exciting, as pulse-pounding and entertaining.
For lovers of film noir, look no further!
