Find Me Guilty (2006) stars Vin Diesel, Peter Dinklage and Ron Silver and directed by Sidney Lumet. It is a docudrama based on the true story of Jack DiNorscio, a mobster who defended himself in court for what would be the longest criminal trial in U.S. history. Most of the dialog in court was taken from the actual testimony.
Vin Diesel gives a shockingly good performance as Jackie DiNorcio. He embodies him with such heart and thorough soul that I found myself rooting for these low life gangsters. At times, his performace is a bit heavy handed, but it's always entertaining. To my surprise, Diesel is a very decent comic actor. Peter Dinklage gives a very fine performance as a lawyer for one of DiNocio's codefendants.
The story is naturally dramatic its portrayal is interesting from start to finish.
