...it's not bad, a decent popcorn movie.
But it's hard to get emotionally involved with a CGI/motion capture chimp, who is the star.
The monkeys do look pretty realistic.
Best part of the film is the Bay Area scenery - Golden Gate and Muir Woods. Chimps riding on top of a cable car is a great scene.
Captain America is a much better film - and probably so is Cowboys and Aliens which I'll see tonight.
I'd give it a C.
