The "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" has to be the most boring movie I have seen in public (and all the way through) since Coster's "Time in a Bottle". The first hour was a non-event, leaving the audience waiting for something to happen. Very little happens in the second hour as well. Aside from a very mildly amusing moment by accident, the movie offers absolutely nothing, nada, zilch.
Spoiler alert:
The great culmination of this ill conceived prequel is that the apes escape and run into the woods. That's it! Seriously. That's how it all started. Wow.
