Two people love each other deeply. How deeply, you ask? Well, the end of a 10' endoscope is about right.
In so many films the characters examine each others bodies. Sometimes VERY closely... Sometimes they even cut off parts of it. In some cases they even enter it - witness the famous Almodovar's nightmare.
But I don't recall another movie with two people so fascinated with each other internal organs that it begins to completely dominate their lives, forcing them to do obviously stupid things... will spare you the details for fear of creating a spoiler.
I wouldn't call The Sentiment of the Flesh a strong film, but if your desire is to leave the well-traveled road, this might be your late night cup of coffee.
It is not quite what the title seems to imply, it is not about sex... it is far deeper...
