Okay, I like space movies and I was expecting the worst. This film was bad BUT NOT THE WORST. You had to do a lot of suspension of disbelief and under those circumstances it was somewhat compelling.

The editing and blending of different visual media was well done as the film is supposed to be composed from "acquired" footage that has been under Top Secret lockdown since 1974. Our three astronauts are told they are on a secret DoD mission and the launch was not to be televised or in any way given to press coverage. They believed they were heading out to place a small array of special radars to detect USSR missile launches. When they arrive on the Moon all seems normal until they find footprints then an abandoned Soviet lunar lander a short ways from them. Oh gosh, then the American flag disappears and stuff starts to happen.....

No, don't waste your time going to see this. I can't stand the flack. BUT, if you are a space film junkie then get the DVD (not the BR because the film resolution is deliberately low quality).

This film is definitely in the Blair/Paranormal vein but it is somewhat better in acting and plot.
