In Reply to: The Orson Welles similarity also noted by our local rag here. Must be a common criticism of his portrayal posted by Road Warrior on October 22, 2011 at 21:45:16:
(of which I decided not to watch the second season). Just not a genre I care for, sick of the gratuitous violence, unless done really well then anything is fair game.
Frankly I prefer Game of Thrones to Boardwalk Empire but neither is great and a step behind something like The Sopranos for sure.
