Documentary filmmaker Janus Metz turns his cameras on a group of Danish soldiers stationed at a camp called Armadillo for six months in the Helmand province of Afghanistan. While the award winning Restrepo is the better known documentary of the war in Afghanistan, Armadillo presents another perspective and is recommended to those interested in a realistic portrayal of the war and its effects on soldiers and civilians. Now available on DVD.
