The expected interviews with all concerned: families (both perps and victims); prison chaplain; state executioner (Texas: he was a busy guy); cops.
Nothing here you haven't heard on the several cable channels that constantly run crime shows. I came away detesting the system, but probably not in the way or for the reasons Herzog wanted.
Anyhow, it's not a bad way to spend a couple of hours, just don't expect Oscar worthy. From Herzog, I expected better.
