"Girl With The Dragon Tattoo": Big budget gets you closer to the story . . .

WOW! Two and a half hours of the story. Characters developed, story expanded, plot rendered in-depth. This film overwhelms with all the details and the relationships not revealed in the Swedish film.

Rooney Mara convincingly disappeared into her character and Craig was just under the Bond line. All the cast members excellent with kudos to Plummer and Skarsgard.

After the Swedish version (saw it twice) I wondered what was all this Salander business was about....this movie makes it abundantly clear with more graphic details too boot.

I appreciate both films but if I had to choose it would be this one.
