...and I doubt any of us ever will. I find him problematical at best. What punishment he deserves I can't say, but he's a slimeball at the least. And not that it excuses Polanski's conduct in the least, any mother that allowed her 13 year old daughter to participate in such a situation is also culpable.
However, Polanski *is* a brilliant filmmaker. Ghost Writer is quite well done and it
s rather nice to see an intelligetn thriller for aults in the local cinplex (although I figured out the twist long before it was revealed). I did have a problem with the ending, but GW is a beautifully executed movie.
