...after getting a rave review in th SF Chronicle, we decided to see it on a rainy Sat. night.
Reminded of me of many other recent musicals - Chicago, Dreamgirls, Showgirls, Moulin Rouge, etc.
Christina Aguilera is a pretty amazing performer with a great voice who is the focal point of the show.
Cher looks a little strange with her facework - almost a caricature of herself - but pulls off the mother hen roll nicely.
There is almost too much plot that gets in the way of the production numbers, but not quite.
No nudity but lots of Victoria Secret style outfits on the dancers.
Nothing new but very entertaining.
I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars.
