And enjoy it I did, from first to last minute... for many reasons, actually. Seen it many years ago, this was like first time. What a great treat for any overgrown boy!
This might be the only Ridley Scott's work that I can take. Breathtakingly beautiful scenes coupled with very realistic action - what more would anyone need? The horses in the woods scene is one legends are made of.
If you have not seen it in long time - take a look... most of the film is done in one breath, with the exception of the ending that somewhat loses its pace and starts getting onto your nerve. And of course a military buff gets a double treat.
