Your statement re: "her misconception about the way men see life" says something about how you view the film. It isn't about how men see it, it's about the way she sees it. These are very personal films she makes. They are often not way to watch, yet their is a poignance to them. Clearly she doesn't have the most positive view of relationships, but she has a very strong point of view about them and about sexuality of women.
