Although I like De Palma films - I see your point. "Scarface" is sometimes laughable... almost silly ... "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!" But despite De Palma being occasionally maudlin, sometimes overly dramatic... I find his films deeply entertaining.
