...I saw it again. The opinions on this were and still are so diverse, I thought it might be just a way to spend 2 hours NOT thinking about taking amps apart to improve them.
It's a very human story about a squad of Marines that is ordered to rescue some civilians stranded at an LA police station. I've never served in the military, but it seems very realistic to me. All cast members, headed by Aaron Eckart as the staff sargeant and Bridget Moynahan and Michael Pena as 2 civilians, are very good.
The aliens are every bit as specific as they need to be. I could have done with some steadier camera work.
