I read three Lee Child books over the past year when you recommended him in a thread a while ago. He's ok, not my favorite. Kind of a palate cleanser for me. It may be my own stupidity, but occasionally I find myself having to reread Child's descriptions because they just see unclear. That Susan Cheever link is interesting...James Lee Burke seems to have gotten a lot of mileage--and respect--out of the Dave Robicheaux character. Happy reading!!
