TV is better than movies and it isn't close because the really good tv is better and longer lasting. Of course there are 1,000 bad shows for every 1 good one. Deadwood, Rome, Dexter, Rubicon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars, The Killing, the absolute best is The Wire, Treme, Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, The X Files, Fringe, Twin Peaks, Oz, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, the Prisoner, and there are others people love which I don't watch like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, 6 Feet Under, Big Love. True Blood has its moments. Spartacus is just sloppy, bad fun. Real Time with Bill Maher is really good as is the Daily Show and Colbert Report.
