It was also easier to understand how the Russian psyche developed a major distrust of the West over the constant delays of a new Western Front. As conniving and wily as Stalin was it was still a great surprise to him that Hitler broke their treaty.
Stalin the wolf, Churchill the Idealist, and Roosevelt the Handler made up this axis that did eventually get their victory over Germany.
