Wife and Sis also liked it.
It's a popcorn movie. It doesn't take advantage of 3D the way Avatar did.
And it's not a great story, this is VERY old scifi.
But it's fun. A former Southern cavalry officer gets teleported to Mars by accident, and back then it had life. He eventually gets dragged into the conflict.
Lot of flaws, but good mindless fun if you're up for that.
