Just saw this and was awed at the masterful story-telling and acting that went into this portrayal of the events of 2008. I'm sure most of you have already seen this HBO film and I am particularly impressed Hurt (who is a hell of a sight better than the real Hank) and Giamatti. Giamatti gave himself over to Bernanke's quirks but it was all good as with the rest of the cast. (Crudup went a little far with Timmy's quirks.)
If Hank really went down on a knee to Pelosi that deserves a Medal of Honor.
HBO really shined with "Barbarians At The Gate" but this far surpasses it by the sheer scale of the story.
