Ultimate date flick: feelings, feelings, emotions! BUT, it's all good! Double up on your insulin and check it out with your SO.Irons and Saldana give great performances--Cooper, well, not so much. We have multiple layers of plots that practically can stand alone and that's what made it interesting to me.
Irons played an old man looking for recognition and was superb. Poor Jeremy is getting so old and haggard he will soon be relegated to Wizard status in England--perhaps another HP just for him.
Saldana played the successful and adoring wife of Cooper who supported him in his efforts to become a published writer. His talent met his paper poorly until a twist of fate changed everything.
To go beyond this cripples viewing pleasure.
I'll give it a 3 outta 5 for being an old softee.
