Just watch this for a refresher.
The four hour mini takes us to loading the lifeboats in the first hour. Odd I thought..what next?
Episode two opens with the building of the Titanic and skips forward from there to develop the characters and their stories.
Each episode slices into the timeline and covers the cast from different angles and moments.
It is no Downton Abbey but it is mildly interesting. The writers elected to not pull in Astor or Guggenheim but did have Molly Brown and her mom represented.
Is this a sweeping masterpiece of BBC art? Naah. You can kill four hours and you can have some emotions pulled out but basically this is a light weight fare.
