Saw this last night. First half was better than the second half IMO, or at least the middle. Thought it dragged a bit at times.
Overall a cool time travel movie with some questions in my head. Yes there's the usual time travel paradox that if Joe killed himself none of them would have been in the field in the first place, but sometimes you just have to let this type go.
A couple other items though...
1 - I thought it pretty much impossible to kill anybody in the future, but do they not kill Joe's wife? If they don't, they just shot her and she lives then she'll be OK anyway....
2 - Joe's caught friend. Why torture him to get his older self to surrender? Seems they were going to kill him regardless, so why not just kill the young version and the old version is gone. If it was for the sake of torture only, than why not torture the old version when he does return?
Small nitpicks. Overall a mostly enjoyable movie, decent plot, even some romance. I'd give this a 3 1/2 to 4 out of 5.
