apart is that it is based on the true story of a group of serial killers.
Nothing particularly well-done, though there are several actors I'd not seen before that should become stars. The character, Jamie, is played by a young actor with the intensity (and looks) of a young Heath Ledger. But the film really belongs to the central character, the evil fellow that enlists a large group of people into venting their hatred of certain kinds of people and then making that hatred into real acts.
Daniel Henshall has portrayed the most evil character you will meet in a film; it is an Oscar-worthy performance of powerful charisma and makes you truly understand how the weak fall easy prey to such powerful evil.
There are a few truly horrific, graphic scenes, though they are a small part of the film: unlike most films of the genre, this one is concerned with the characters, not the mayhem, itself.
It blows away the genre, seemingly making future films superfluous.
