A two-hour show, forget Part 1 (talking heads) and proceed to the film itself. The restoration from 16mm is a beaut, and the original mono sound has been improved with stereo versions of the music. But the whole thing is kinda dumb, rescued however by three things:
-- Ringo is camera-ready, although the others aren't.
-- The tour guide on the bus is very funny.
-- Victor Spinetti's turn as a British Army Sergeant is totally hilarious.
Find a rebroadcast on your local channels, although it'll surely be out as a $25 PBS DVD.
