about a guy who suffered a horrendous assault as a young man that.... anyhow, it's a gigantic slop-house, but somehow, it's maddeningly interesting: I just couldn't bring myself to hit "stop" and instead was fascinated to see what ridiculousness next would occur. This film has one bizarre cast of characters unmatched in recent memory.
The "romantic" interest is a woman with the type of unusual looks that never would allow a lead role in an American film; yet, her massive nose and exaggerated hour-glass figure , and her amazing emotional transformation were spell-binding.
Warning: this film has one of the most frightening, chilling scenes EVER filmed.
